Well, a major problem continues to plague the greater Maddock area, namely snow. While it has fortunately stopped falling from the sky, huge amounts of it continue to remain on the ground thanks to continued sub-zero temperatures. It has made travel to and from town difficult and, in fact, only those with sleighs are managing to get around. A large portion of the town's streets are marginally clear, but that did not occur without a large amount of manual labor. Such snows are not uncommon and, fortunately, the majority of people in town (and on outlying farms) had ample stores of goods for just such an event... Return to the Archive |
