Shootings and stuff

This time it was Sheriff Barron practicing his marksmanship in the square, on a Saturday night. No one is quite sure what the other man did, that got him shot, but many accounts have the Sheriff chasing the man through the saloon, the dance hall and finally apprehending him outside in the square. Someone else says that Theo Grey tried to steal the horse of one of the wounded men, but couldn't do it, spooked it off instead. Yet, when all was said and done, there were two men downed, though only one bullet shot. With none of the town's usual medical help available, the veterns of various wars - Sheriff Barron and Thierry Marcel - did well enough to likely have saved the lives of both wounded men. Some rumours name the hurt men as Mister Mason, a local cowhand-turned-miner, and Jordan Wilson, of the Wilson tannery. He limped off with Theo as support, while the other man, 'Mason', was carted off to the Sheriff's office for what might become an extended stay.
