Well now, Ahr did hear that the new bankerman, Mr. Clyhhsdan had gone and vanished for a bit after the evening of the auction the bank is holdin'. Ya. Even at the social dance, Ahr ove'heard Ms. Jenkins inquirin' after the man like she might have some busi-ness with him. And not a soul could say where the man was. Course' I haven told ya the real kicker of it yet, c'os you see, a few days later, the man was seen back in town. Not a many folks won that bet ah'll tell ya! Which bet? The one about whether some one had gone and done him in. But anyway, I digress. The point is, Ahr did hear that after findin' no suitable barber in town, he march himself right over to the Funeral Parlor and got himself a shave, a haircut and new hat! Now, I know Bobby likely did a fine right job, givin' that man a shave - but one has ta wonder who's hat he's wearing.
