The Ladies Auxiliary Club is abuzz. A new business in town, a gunsmith. Now normally this would not be gossip worthy. but the proprietor is the refined looking English Woman, Balcombe by name, that has been in town the last few weeks. The sign over the storefront claims five generations of gunsmithing experience. The workers who built the two buildings on the lot by the bank were overheard talking about her quite knowledgeably directing their construction of both forge and foundry in the inside the workshop. Wagons of freight and furniture have been delivered. It appears she intends to make a go of it. A woman gunsmith! Who does she think she is? Why no one will deal with her.......
