"No, what?" The other mn sips on his whiskey.

"Seems some people are saying they know why that actor boy got kidnapped." His friend's ears perk.

"You gotsta be kiddin' me."

The first man shakes his head, "Nope, You know that thing that happened to Miss Letitia a while ago, she got beat, well people've been saying that either Theo and that Thierry beat her up along with one of their pals..."

The second man listens intently, "But that still doesn't explain why Theo got napped."

The first man continues, "...Other people are saying Theo and Thierry paid some miners to beat her up, and Thierry's wire he was getting was supposed to pay these men off, but the men got too greedy and now what their pay, and money for the boy..."

The second mans ears perk up again, and he hmms and slowly nods his head, as another man sits down, "Talking bout that Theo boy being napped?" He looks around, then leans in, "Well I heard that the two paid some miners to beat her up, then Thierry had to send Theo to work for the men, which is why he dissapears every once in a while...seems Thierry paid the men off but now that the wire of his has gotten through the men took Theo to get more money..." The third man shakes his head.

"Nope, I heard similar now that I think of it, but what I heard is that Theo and Thierry are in cahoots with them damn injuns, the injuns got the two to find some miners to beat her up, then the two did and now the injuns want their money back or something, you know how them damn injuns are...well they kidnapped the boy...but the injuns that explains his frequent dissapearances..."

The three shrug, and sip their drinks, then one talks again, "Someone should find out why the widow fired them might give more help to this problem." They nod, and start about the town meeting's issue.
