Word on the street is that Mark Temple hasn't been hanging out at the saloon for recreational purposes. Unlike others, he gets to keep his guns when he's at the saloon. He favors a corner table that lets him look over most of the room without difficulty and that gives him solid protection from the back. By now, most people have figured out that the man is working as security for the Golden Phoenix. So far, he hasn't had to show off his talent with a gun, but his reputation as The Missourian is enough to make even a drunkard think twice about tangling with him.
