The burnt-down restaurant whose rebuilding has evidently kept the Mexican contingent of Maddock fairly busy, has finally begun to take shape at the east end of town. A two-story structure replaces the previous one-story one, with the restaurant being on the main floor. It's much larger than previously. Miguel and Naco are the most visible workers, there, day in and day out, but Ylsa and Tess and the children help out with a considerable array of the other and somewhat less strenuous chores of construction.
With luck, the restaurant will be finished and ready to re-open within two weeks.
