Fair trade? |
||
|
Casual observers to the Twin Hills Ranch have, of late, noticed a marked increase in the number of men riding security for the biggest ranch in the area. Those same people just might have heard a single shot the other night. The night of the morning a dead body showed up on the door step of the sheriff. And these observant people just might realize that a few head of cattle lost, in exchange for one dead rustler isn't a fair trade. Or perhaps, it is a fair trade, depending on what side of the barbed wire you happen to reside. In any event, the men of the Twin Hills Ranch continue to ride heavily armed, shooting to kill. Can't speak for the other ranches, but might this ranch have seen the last of it's cattle disappear? Return to the Archive |
